Introducing the most unique format of puppy training available!  Each class is essentially a "field trip" out in a new public location in the Del Mar area!  The goal is to safely socialize our pups while teaching basic commands using science-based positive reinforcement training that is fun and effective!
 

We have an “Open Enrollment “ onboarding process so you can start right away and take the 5 lessons on a weekly basis back-to-back! Going to have to miss one? No problem! Makeup classes are available for any missed in the series! Want to try it out first before making the commitment?  No problem!  Drop-in classes available as well!

 

Class size typically ranges from four to ten dogs.  Locations for group classes may change per series based on permit availability at local San Diego City and County parks.  Examples of common class locations: Ashley Falls Park, Torrey Highlands, Torrey Hills Park, & Ocean Air Park.  The Urban Puppy series includes a “Puppy Social” at the UTC Mall!

 

Dogs must be at least 3 months of age and have proof of current vaccinations.  

 

*The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior suggests starting group socializing classes as early as 12 weeks of age as long as the pup is up-to-date on their vaccination schedule*

Would you want your dog to have better manners in public?  Then this is the class for you!  The goal of this class is for our dogs to earn their AKC Canine Good Citizen Title!  We will spend the first 4 sessions teaching our dogs the 10 skills needed to pass the exam while actually training them in Urban settings.  Week 5 we will administer the official AKC Canine Good Citizen Test to the entire class! 

 

Make-up classes are available for missed lessons in the series.  Class size typically ranges from four to ten dogs.  Locations for group classes may change per series based on permit availability at local San Diego City and County parks.  Examples of common class locations: Ashley Falls Park, Torrey

Highlands, Torrey Hills Park, Ocean Air Park and the UTC Mall.   An official class itinerary will be sent out a week before class starts to those enrolled.

Been working hard to train your dog?  Now it's time to enjoy them!  Each week we meet up for a new adventure!  Plan to hike a local trail, get sandy on the beach, or even relax at a local restaurant!  This class is so much fun, and because we will rotate our locations, it can be taken more than once! 

 

Class size ranges from four to ten dogs.  

 

Dogs must have proof of current vaccinations. Pups must be at least 3 months of age, no class pre-requisite required.  Leash reactive dogs are not welcomed without approval from instructor.
