GROUP CLASSES
The most unique format of group classes available in San Diego!
All are classes are taught in real-life Urban settings. Each class meets one hour per week for five consecutive weeks, each week in a new outdoor location! There is no better place to train our dogs than in the places we want them to behave in! Starting with Urban Puppy, moving on to Urban Advanced, and then ending up in the Urban Adventures Class will ensure your dog is a Spot On Success!!
Introducing the most unique format of puppy training available! Each week is essentially a "field trip" out in a new public location! The goal is to safely socialize our pups while teaching basic commands using positive reinforcement training. We will cover sit, down, stay, wait, leave-it, loose-leash walking, greeting politely and much more!
Make-up classes are available for missed lessons in the series. Class size typically ranges from four to ten dogs. Locations for group classes may change per series based on permit availability at local San Diego City and County parks. Examples of common class locations: Ashley Falls Park, Torrey Hills Park, Carmel Valley Rec Center, San Dieguito County Park and the UTC Mall. An official class itinerary will be sent out a week before class starts to those enrolled. Evening classes in winter months will be held indoors at Camp Run-A-Mutt Sorrento Valley due to the lack of sunlight at that hour.
Dogs must be at least 3 months of age and have proof of current vaccinations.

Would you want your dog to have better manners in public? Then this is the class for you! The goal of this class is for our dogs to earn their AKC Canine Good Citizen Title! We will spend the first 4 sessions teaching our dogs the 10 skills needed to pass the exam while actually training them in Urban settings. Week 5 we will administer the official AKC Canine Good Citizen Test to the entire class!
Make-up classes are available for missed lessons in the series. Class size typically ranges from four to ten dogs. Locations for group classes may change per series based on permit availability at local San Diego City and County parks. Examples of common class locations: Ashley Falls Park, Torrey Hills Park, Carmel Valley Rec Center, San Dieguito County Park and the UTC Mall. An official class itinerary will be sent out a week before class starts to those enrolled. All classes taught in the evening will be held indoors at Camp Run-A-Mutt for 4 of the 5 weeks due to limited daylight during the winter months. They will have one week at the UTC Mall for their field trip week. All daytime classes are taught in field trip format each week.
Dogs must have completed a puppy class or equivalent and have proof of current vaccinations.

Been working hard to train your dog? Now it's time to enjoy them! Each week we meet up for a new adventure! Plan to hike a local trail, get sandy on the beach, or even relax at a local restaurant! This class is so much fun, and because we will rotate our locations, it can be taken more than once!
Make-up classes are available for missed lessons. Class size ranges from four to ten dogs. Official class itineraries will be sent out a week before class begins to those enrolled. Locations of classes will in and around the Del Mar area.
Dogs must have proof of current vaccinations.
